When do I need to RSVP?

How do I get there?

The ceremony will be at Islington Town Hall, Upper St, London N1 2UD. The Hall is an 8 minute walk from Highbury & Islington tube station (connected to the Victoria Line, as well as Mildmay and Windrush Overground lines).

We will be providing transport in between the Ceremony and Reception at St. John Smithfield, 26 St John St, Barbican, London EC1M 4AY.

At the end of the night, St. John is about 5 minutes walk either way between Farringdon or Barbican stations (both on the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, Farringdon also has the Elizabeth Line and the Thameslink).

It's worth noting that neither station is covered by the Night Tube, but buses and taxis run all night.

I don't live in London, where should I stay?

We are very grateful for those travelling from outside of London for us!

If you need it, here is a list of hotels close to the ceremony and reception, at a few different price points. Prices are likely to increase the later you book, but if you go a bit further out of the centre you will get a bit more bang for your buck.

What should I wear?

The vibe of the wedding is summer semi-formal. You don't need to be overly formal (though if you want to dress up, go ahead!), but it's not a day at the beach either! Any colour except white is fine. If we are blessed with good weather it will probably be quite warm in the reception venue so plan accordingly!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

As we have a photographer, please don't feel the need to take photos during the ceremony itself - we don't want to look out and see your phones! Feel free to take photos any other time.

Can I have a plus one?

As it's not a massive wedding, only people named on the invitation are invited.

Can I bring my child?

Due to the size and location of the wedding, sadly we cannot have children attending unless they are babes in arms.

What's the bar situation?

There will be an open bar.

Registry

You being there really is the best thing we could ask for. If you are dying to get us something, we have a honeymoon fund below - while we would deeply appreciate this, there's no pressure at all.
